Masculine Nouns

Hindi words can either be masculine or feminine. There is no neutral gender in Hindi.

Hindi words those ending in "आ " (aa) are masculine.

For example - Room - कमरा Kamaraa

Since "कमरा" kamaraa ends in आ "aa" sound that's why it is a masculine word in Hindi.

The plural form of Masculine nouns ending in आ “aa” are made by changing the final आ “aa” into ए “e”
